European Lightning Detection Workshop will start next week. It will last from Monday, 13rd October to Tuesday, 14th October. Workshop will be held on Milan Vidmar Electric Power Research Institute, Hajdrihova 2, 1000 Ljubljana.
On this meeting, experts from lightning localization systems and its developers gather from whole world.
Main topics of lectures will be divided in three parts:
- measurement: new technologies, validation, error correction,
- application and services: mobile weather monitoring (mScalar), statistics, alarming, geographic data, data manipulation and integration,
- systems: LLS (Lightning Localization Systems), international operation, sensor installing and upgrading.
