New service for alarming users of lightning activity on specified area has been developed. Application which provides users with this service is called FlashAlarm. It features: selecting area for alarm supervising and customizing alarm triggering conditions. Alert about lightning activity is delivered through SMS, e-mail or fax.

We are also developing other ways of delivering alerts to users, which will include image display of lightning activity on supervised area. Image will be available through MMS and e-mail. In development is also alarming based on monitoring rainfall and cloudness.

Service is already in use by Slovenia's national broadcasting company (RTVSLO), which uses our application for improving alerting their broadcasting stations of arriving thunderstorms.
